Product Introduction
At present, the operating pressure and temperature of the centralized heating network in residential areas (multi-story buildings, low floors of high-rise buildings) in our country are generally around 0.8 MPa and below 85℃, and in most areas, the operating pressure of the network is generally no higher than 0.6 MPa, and the operating temperature is generally 50-60℃. According to a 50-year design service life, based on the relevant national standards and specifications for PE-RTⅡ type pipes and under different heating conditions, the maximum working pressure of PE-RTII type pipes is shown in the following table.

From the above table, it can be seen that the PE-RTⅡ type pipeline can meet the operating temperature and pressure requirements of the district heating network.
Pipeline service life
At present, most of the heating networks in China use steel pipes. The designed service life of steel pipes is generally 25 years.However, in actual use, due to pipe corrosion and other reasons, the pipes break down in 10 years or even a few years, and the transmission capacity of the network decreases year by year.
The PE-RTⅡ type pipeline, as a new type of plastic pipeline, has the characteristics of corrosion resistance and long service life. The static hydrostatic test of the pipeline at 10℃ has exceeded 16,000 hours. According to the national standard "Determination of Long-Term Static Hydraulic Strength of Thermoplastic Materials in Pipe Form for Plastic Pipe System" (GN/T18252-2008), when 30℃ ≤ ▲T < 35℃, the extrapolation time factor ke is 30, and it can be concluded that the extrapolation time limit for the application of PE-RTⅡ type pipeline at 80℃ has exceeded 50 years.
The pipeline transmission flow rate
Compared with steel pipes, the inner wall of the PE-RTⅡ type pipeline is smooth, with a roughness of 1/50 of that of steel pipes. Under the same inner diameter, the flow rate is approximately 1.25 times that of steel pipes. Therefore, a smaller diameter can be selected to meet the transmission requirements. And with the increase of transmission time, the flow resistance of steel pipes gradually increases, while the flow rate of the PE-RTⅡ type pipeline remains unchanged. According to the "Urban Heating Network Design Code" CJJ34, the economic specific friction loss of the pipeline should not exceed 100 pa/m. According to the hydraulic calculation formula, the flow rate comparison of the corresponding specifications of PE-RTⅡ type pipe and steel pipe (obtained from the table) is as follows in the table below.
